Kerry at NASA, what's the big deal?

I really don't understand what the fuss is about with the photos taken of John Kerry while on tour of Cape Canaveral (Drudge Report).  Apparently someone at NASA leaked them to make Kerry look bad, but does it?

As someone who has been on tours of clean rooms, this is standard procedure.  For all we know he is crawling around in a future section of the International Space Station.  It seems to me that it is pretty important to keep that clean!  Imagine if there were leaked photos of Kerry in a satellite wearing civies...that would warrant a controversy.

It reminds me of the flack that Gilles Duceppe took when he put on a hair net to tour a cheese factory.  But what do we expect?  The guy was touring a food production facility.  I don't know about you but I would rather not have Duceppe's hair in my cheese.

A Michael Dukakis tank photo this is not!
