Moore vs. O'Reilly

All things considered this is actually a pretty calm exchange. It seems to me that in Moore's view it all boils down to whether or not you are willing to sacrifice your children.

Would you sacrifice — just finish on this — would you sacrifice your child to remove one of the other 30 brutal dictators on this planet?

A funny things happens to children when the grow and that is they become adults and therefore cease to be children.  You would think this is obvious to Moore, but apparently not.  How can I sacrifice a child to remove brutal dictators?  Are children forced to serve in the military?  Of course not, they are adults.  Can I force my adult child to volunteer for the military?  Again, of course not.  In fact, once they are adults can I force them to do anything?

Now Moore would probably say that President Bush is the defacto father of all American soldiers and he is the one sacrifing the children.  But again, this is a volunteer military, joined by adults, out of their own free will.  It is not the Boy Scouts or Girl Guides!
