Much has been written and said about MP Carolyn Parrish's latest rantings and I cannot resist adding my two cents. So here are parts of what she said:
we are not joining the coalition of the idiots , we are joining the coalition of the wise.
Instead of backing down when challenged on this MP Parrish clarifies with the following:
they [the Iraqis] have no weapons of mass destruction. Could someone explain to me whether you think they're idiots or geniuses?
Let's check where Prime Minister Martin stands on this issue of WMDs.
The fact is that there is now, we know well, a proliferation of nuclear weapons, and that many weapons that Saddam Hussein had, we don't know where they are," Martin told a crowd of about 700 university researchers and business leaders in Montreal. "That means terrorists have access to all of that.
That is interesting...but there is more
I believe that terrorism will be, for our generation, what the Cold War was to generations that preceded us," he said. "I don't think we're out of it yet.
Back to you MP Parrish:
if we join the Americans in this issue, instead of having the United States as a terrorist target you're going to move the border up and around the whole of North America
As we know Canada was included in Osama Bin Laden's Fatwa, so guess what MP Parrish we already are a target. Either we kind blindly ignore this fact, actively surrender or take this issue head on. From the above we can see where MP Parrish stands on all of this and wher ePM Martin does. I guess that makes one of them an idiot. I know whom I choose and I can now see who MP Parrish chooses? How about you?
