And now for the obvious

There has been much debate as to why the Democrats lost the last election, from homophobia to a bad messenger. How about we look at the obvious, the reason was the message delivered from senior Democratic leadership.

We had Al Gore saying that President Bush betrayed his country and took the US on an ill-conceived foreign adventure that was preordained and planned before 9/11 andthat his administration represented the return of the brownshirts.

We had Senator Ted Kennedy saying that President Bush was telling lie after lie after, that he concocted the war for political gain and the only thing to fear was four more years of President Bush.

We had Governor Howard Dean claiming that President Bush new about 9/11 before it happened.

Finally we had Senator Kerry claiming that Iraq was the wrong war in the wrong place at the wrong but that he was going to get more allies on board.

Sure these are Hannity talking points but they are correct.

The Democrats were just not serious enough to be trusted.
