Media Rx Part II: The Star

Of course the editorial board at the Star was not so impressed either. Here is a more interesting quote:

Finally, Martin made the case, albeit obliquely, that Canadians prefer to fight terror by promoting democracy rather than by forcibly toppling regimes. "The spread of democracy takes place through elections, which is why taking the battle outside of our borders really is the election in the Middle East, it is the election in Iraq, and it is the election in Ukraine."

I love to see the Toronto Star explain how there were to be elections in Iraq without forcibly toppling regimes.
