I finally broke my record

It took me a few months but I finally managed to set a new personal record for monthly traffic. Back in August when I was still a blog newbie (actually I am not entirely sure that I am not still) I did a post whereby I quoted a chunk of Orwell's classic 1984 but I exchanged the Goldstein character for President Bush and Winston Smith for an employee at the Toronto Star engaging in the Two Minutes of Hate. This post was a hit and set an early traffic goal that has taken me 6 months to exceed. Which of course I am completely cool with because I still quite like the original post, especially since this hatred of President Bush in the end was counter productive.

One thing that struck me as kind of funny was the someone on the left could have done the exact same thing but replaced Goldstein with bin Laden to the same effect. No one pointed that one out though...
