I just caught the tail end of the Bloq Quebecois sub-amendment vote and Susan Bonner of the CBC reported that Tony Valeri has been informed that the BQ will vote for the Conservative amendment tomorrow. If all the CPC and BQ show up the government will fall. MP Gilles Duceppe is sure to have chesire grin on his face at the moment.
I wonder how many Conservatives will contract the flu tomorrow.
Update: CTV has video of House Leader Tony Valeri.
Upperdate: The link now includes video of MP Peter MacKay. I agree with him, I would not be surprised if the Liberals accidentally do not have enough MPs and the government fails. Between Resolution P-90 (see above) and SSM, the Liberals may be smelling a majority.
Finally: MP Duceppe was just having a little fun. Good. Who needs another election right now?
