Culture of life

When Pope John Paul II uses the term "culture of life" it refers to a cornerstone of the Roman Catholic faith. By extension it is a fundamental Christian concept.

When President George W. Bush uses the term "culture of life" it is "code language" to fire up his religious base - to keep them angry.

At least that is what Neil MacDonald reported on the CBC National this evening. At least he doesn't let his personal bias leak into the news...
