Just because we did doesn't mean you should

I just love this. The Prime Minister has challenged the Conservatives not to call an election until the Gomery Inquiry is finished.

Will the leader of the Opposition give Canadians a guarantee that he will let Justice (John) Gomery report his findings - that he will not force voters into an election until they have the answers that this prime minister has said that they deserve?

Remember, this is the same Prime Minister who already promised to wait until after the inquiry to call an election but broke that promise last year. Pathetic.

Update: Paul Wells jumps all over this. Not for the first time either.

...Am I now incorrigibly catty, or does it seem to you, as it does to me, that this line would be more effective if voters hadn't been forced into an election last June — before they had the answers that this prime minister had already said they deserved?
