So much happening that I can't keep up. I definately need to check out the replay of Question Period. Check out the post on MP Solberg's blog.
...Meanwhile Boulay testified before Gomery today that he met weekly with Martin during the 93 campaign because he was helping him with communications in his riding. Kinda blows up Paul's assertion that Boulay was just an acquaintance. To top it all off Paul didn't show up in the House today. How demoralizing is that?Think about it. Your position is being shelled from three sides and the General waves goodbye to the troops and heads for the bunker. Nice.
And Double Wow! Check out Andrew
Coyne's blog. This is turing into an absolute s**t-storm and no begging by the PM is going to stop it.
- People who hold office with PM Martin and Premier Charest were paid off
- Parallel government
- 1995 referendum was stolen
What happened to my country!?
Let It Bleed continues the thought.
...Why is anyone still sitting on the government side of the House? They should all be ashamed of themselves; the legitimacy of any claim that they once had to plead innocence with respect to Adscam has now evaporated: Liberals don't think it's "fair" that they're all getting tarred as corrupt incompetents because of the actions of "a few"? Well, now we have allegations that one of the core functions of the executive in a parliamentary democracy, the appointment of an independent judiciary, is as covered in dung as the rest of what they were doing. And nobody is even denying it. This is not a trivial allegation.
...But whatever the reason, if this is true, we can safely say that the federal Liberals are, without question and without doubt, the worst government in Canadian history. There's really no going back from this: if justice is for sale, we really have tipped over the line into something far less dignified than a mature democracy.
