Um..ah...Nevermind

Thomas Walkon of the Toronto Star goes to bat for PM Martin in defending his decision to not up transfer payments to Ontario. Expect his next article to outline the case for why Ontario desperately needed an increase in transfer payments and how much vision PM Martin showed in giving it.

Update: I am sure that Mr. Walkon won't be quoting John Reynolds.

..."Be my friend and (Martin) will give you anything you want," Reynolds said. "I'm sure the phone calls haven't stopped ringing in his office. Every premier wants to see him, and every territory leader and every group that will help knock on doors in the campaign. Come and see me - I'll give you money."
Reynolds said the Ontario deal is great for the province because it has been getting "ripped off" by the feds for years, but he says Martin will do just about anything in a pre-election campaign to curry favour with voters.
