With friends like these...

Stephen Taylor has an interesting post regarding the Liberal treatment of MP David Kilgour before they needed his vote.

...David Kilgour left the Liberals because of their institutionalized corruption. Today Paul Martin Liberals are doing everything they can think of to entice him back to vote with the government on motion(s) of non-confidence.

...While Kilgour deserves much credit for getting Prime Ditherer Paul Martin to pay attention to the crisis in Sudan, senior Liberals previously ratted out Kilgour to the Conservative Party

It is amazing that at the same time the Liberals were back-biting MP Kilgour they were making the platitudes of grave concern about the situation in Darfur. Everything is a game to them and now that they need another piece in the game they negotiate with MP Kilgour. I hope we do the right thing in Sudan and MP Kilgour does the right thing and votes against the Liberals. It would serve them right for the way they have treated him.
