I caught MP David Kilgour interviewed by Mike Duffy last hour (here is a link from Canada AM). He has done more in the last week to bring Canadians attention to the genocide in Darfur than one year of a PM Martin government.
I give him a tonne of credit in using his Independent status to try to get Canada to take the lead amongst NATO nations on this issue. It appears he may have failed in gettting the 500 troops necessary to create international pressure but not for lack of trying.
I am proud of his attempts. Regardless of how he votes.
