When has what the Supreme Court said mattered

Apparently the PM can pick and choose which charter rights he will honour. (hat-tip NealeNews)

...We're not going to have a two-tier health-care system in this country, he told reporters following Thursday's ruling.
Nobody wants that.

Nobody? What is it with this PM that he thinks he universally speaks for all Canadians? What percentage does it have to be for it to be nobody? Does 72% count. That is the percentage of Canadians who prefer civil unions to civl marriages but that runs afoul of the Charter (apparently). How can he ignore the right to timely treatment of ailments. Who makes ones choice of ones body (So many sacred cows, so little time).

The Conservatives have been handed an issue to win on. Let's see if they can pull it off.
