I am not sure if this points to anything for the future but the Conservatives are dramatically out fundraising the Liberals. This is probably due to the fact the the Reform wing of the party has always been the most grassroots of all the parties. Obviously these fundraising skills have been retained. Here are the numbers as reported by the CBC (hat-tip Bourque)
Conservatives $10.9 million.
Liberals $5.2 million.
New Democrats $5.19 million.
Bloc Québécois $897,000.
So the Conservatives have more than bridged the gap existing from the $1.75 a vote.
There is one caveat. This does included money donated to individual nominees.
