This could be fun

I received this via email as part of my Google Alerts on Gomery.

On Wednesday, July 6 at 6am (Eastern Time), TheFraser Institute will release Accounting for Gomery: The Money Links Betweenthe Federal Government, Political Parties and Private Interests, an assessmentof financial relationships in the federal government's sponsorship andadvertising programs. This is the Institute's latest work in a series of value-for-money studies and analyses of Auditor General reports. There have been a number of investigations of these federal government programs, ranging from the original 2003 Auditor General report to assessments from the Public Works and Government Services department, the Standing Committee on Public Accounts, and the Gomery Commission. This new Fraser Institute report builds on this work and supplies data and an analytical framework for understanding why value-for-money has not been achieved in these programs.

The full text of the publication (in PDF) and the media release, in bothEnglish and French, will be available at style="font-size:85%;">www.fraserinstitute.ca.

I will be sure to check that out.
