"They had it coming"

One of the statements regarding the London bombings that I find most disturbing is that, considering the British policy in Iraq, they had it coming.

Sky News is reporting that the attacks were suicide bombings (homicide bombings if you prefer) conducted by British Citizens. Is it therefore "an understandable" thing that British citizens kill their countrymen to dispute a foreign policy decision. This logic is consistent with saying that a murdered abortion doctor should had it coming as well. It is all nonsense.

Furthermore, other reports have the bombs being of "military quality", coming from a source in the Balkans. You know, the place where Muslims were being slaughtered by Milosovic while the West watched. There are innumerable "root causes" of these bombings but ask yourself this: would London have been bombed if they had not invaded Iraq? Would all terrorist actives stop in Britain if the British abandoned Iraq?

Kate McMillan links to a Winds of Change presentation showing that 14 out of 30 mass terrorist attacks conducted by al Qaeda took place before 9/11 and a reminder that al Qaeada declared war on the West in 1998.

Clearly there is a little more going on here than "Chickens coming home to roost" for Iraq.
