More advice for Harper

Ike Awgu of the Ottawa Sun has some more advice for MP Harper.

style="font-size:85%;">...What on Earth ever happened to the Conservative Party talking about a serious decrease in taxes?
I have a suggestion for Mr. Harper: During your next campaign, suggest to the voters you're willing to give them some of their own money back! Gay marriage means zilch to normal people. All Harper's announcement did was shrink his party's already diminutive tent. The few who applauded Harper's proclamation already voted for him in the last election -- they aren't enough in number to make him the prime minister.

I have said previously that the Conservatives must have some polling to back up their line in the sand on marriage and I certainly hope that is true. As for taxes, yes, why don't the Conservatives talk about this more?

I like what Bob Tarantino had to say - "A more prosperous Canada, for a more generous Canada".

Also, at the beginning of the tour MP Harper spoke about daycare. I think the Conservative position, money to parents, not to institutions, is a winner. Why are we not hearing more about this. I guess I will hear for myself tomorrow at the KW BBQ.
