Meatriarchy has a great post on how bad the Leafs are hurtin' right now. And the eternal optimists like me:
...And for those who are consoling themselves with the thought that the Leafs will have a ton of cap room to sign some free agents next year - forget it. Those players are only free agents in theory right now. They could very easily sign contracts with their current clubs like a certain Calgary star did yesterday.
Ouch. I don't want to even think about what would happen if Thorton and Lecavalier re-up or are traded and signed by that team.
I am just loving be able to blog about hockey. Hopefully you all are putting up with it...either that or a blog-name change.
