Momentum?

Check out this story from the Orangeville Banner.

...Saturday's fundraiser drew in about 800 people to Blenkarn's farm, located on Mono-Adjaja Townline.
The event offered a small glimpse of the party's election platform -- a campaign that will likely commence later this year -- and gave local Tories a chance to take jabs at the competition.

800 in Orangevile. Nice turn out. Add this to the 1000 people that the London Free Press reported going to the London BBQ and it looks like the Conservatives will stretch out that fundraising lead.

...The official opposition leader attacked Martin's position on the environment, the promise of a universal child care program and his commitment to democratic reform.
If triumphant in the next general election, Harper vowed to give tax credits to those who use municipal transit or commuter trains to get to work.
He also promised to offer financial relief to parents and to revisit Canadian electoral practices, namely the issue of proportional representation.

All this and some policy talk as well. Slowly by surely....
