Liberal rich Ontario

It is no longer "seat-rich" Ontario. It is back to being "Liberal-rich" Ontario. The latest Ipsos-Reid poll shows the following for Ontario.

Liberals: 45%
Conservatives: 29%
NDP: 19%

Those are really good numbers for the Liberals and could translate to:

Seats
Liberals: 81
Conservatives: 16
NDP: 8

Nationally the Liberals are in the range of 140-145 seats. The NDP is steady at around 20. This is enough for a stable Liberal-NDP coalition government. No wonder the Liberals are feeling confident and that MP Layton won't rule out voting with the Conservatives and BQ to bring down the government. If these numbers hold up there is a Cabinet Position in the wait for MP Layton and his coveted "central role in government" is there to be had. Couple this with $10-billion surpluses and wait for the dramatic increases in government expenditures.

Have I cheered you up yet? And I don't mean you Greg.
