Mr. Dithers? How about Mr. Doesn't Care

When John Ibbitson is all over a Liberal Prime Minister you know something serious is going on. Check out his column in the Globe and Mail.

...Paul Cellucci, the former U.S. ambassador to Canada, has written a book that apparently criticizes the Martin government's handling of missile defence as "perplexing, astounding" and "disappointing." The words fit the Prime Minister's desultory response to one of the worst natural disasters in U.S. history.
When a close friend and ally is suffering through something this traumatic, moral support matters as much as offers of aid

The crux of Mr. Ibbitison's case is that Canada will benfit economically from the disaster so we should at least look guilty doing it.

Why is it that PM Martin can't even pull off the easy stuff? What are this guys skills anyways?
