The voice of summer

I can't let the weekend go by without noting the passing of Toronto Blue Jays broadcaster Tom Cheek. When I was a teenager the Blue Jays were my passion. I love baseball. I love to play it. I love to watch it. And above all I love to listen to it on the radio. To me Tom Cheek was baseball's voice.

I listened to him on the radio for over 20 years (although he was on for more than that) and this years season was not the same without him. He will certainly be missed. But now he with the clouds in Heaven. Touch 'em all Tom.
