Break it down for me fella's

You know the motto here at PoliticalStaples, got nothing to talk about? Talk about a poll. I decided to dig a little deeper into the Strategic Counsel poll by working backwards. In the Globe and Mail story it is reported that the Liberals have a 10-point lead over the Conservatives in “English Canada”. Combine this with their reported Ontario figures of:

Liberals: 50%
Conservatives: 30%
New Democrats: 12%

And you can start to guess at the other regional numbers must have been to make things add up:

Atlantic Canada
Liberals: 45%
Conservatives: 28%
New Democrats: 23%

Prairies
Liberals: 33%
Conservatives: 34%
New Democrats: 25%

You still with me? It gets better.

Alberta
Liberals: 28%
Conservatives: 51%
New Democrats: 10%

Yeah, the Conservatives have lost 10-points in Alberta…

British Columbia
Liberals: 33%
Conservatives: 24%
New Democrats: 28%

And are the third party in British Columbia. I’m not saying the Allan Gregg is wrong, I’m just saying these are the types of numbers you are signing onto if you think his numbers are solid.
