A new consensus is forming.
...To end Liberal rule, the Conservatives and NDP must recognize they symbiotic relationship. They must unite on a common front and support one another in ridings where they are not competing directly against one another. If Conservatives continue to see NDPers as scary left-wingers, the Liberals will win. If NDPers continue to see Conservatives as scary right-wingers, the Liberals will win. United they win, divided they fall.
I have been watching very closely to see if the Conservatives or NDP tip their hands on whether or not they will engage each other. I can't see any sign that they will. On all the roundtable panels they purposely avoid talking about each other and go after the Liberals instead.
For the latest check out the panel from CTV's Question Period. A couple of months ago NDP rep Brad Lavigne would have been all over the Conservatives. Today? Nothing. Good sign indeed.
One might even want to follow Occam's Carbuncle's advice. If you want the Liberals out then vote for the candidate with the best chance of unseating the Liberal incumbant - regardless of what party you would have to vote for.
