Meet the Suppressed: The Bloggers Hotstove

The inaugural edition of the Bloggers Hotstove is up over at James Bow's blog. Last night he, Greg of Sinister Thoughts and Bob of LetItBleed and I took our first shot at a political podcast.

During the podcast we discuss the issues of the week, like "organized crime", the parachuting of Michael Ignatieff and the possible investigation into insider trading on the income trust announcement.

We also discuss which issues we think will be key to the campaign and which issues could sneak there way into the debate. We comment on the risks the election poses for each of the Leaders, what our predictions are and finally a discussion of minority governments and the possibility of electoral reform.

These files are hosted on James Bow's website and he requires that you save the files to your harddrive for listening - thus saving some bandwidth. I hope you enjoy.

Part 1 (9:13) Part 2 (9:02) Part 3 (8:46) Part 4 (9:55) Part 5 (9:52) Part 6 (6:52)

If you have any comments or suggestions please feel free to comment here or send me an email at greg.staples@rogers.com.

For the technically inclined the podcast was completed using Skype and following the directions found here. The best testimonial I can give is that I am not very html savy and I got it to work. If I can, anyone can.

Look for us at the end of each weekend during the campaign.

Update: The dead links have been fixed.
