I crashed the Breakfast with Breakfast with Monte event this morning hosted by Kitchener-Conestoga Conservative Candidate Harold Albrecht (seen below, low lighting, best I could do)
Mr. Albrecht gave a speech mainly regarding infrastructure. He and Monte will be appearing on the Jeff Allan Show on 570 News at 11:00AM this morning.
Monte Solberg gave a good speech as well highlighting how the Liberals response to every problem is to throw money at it in the hopes that it will go away. This is the premise behind the sponsorship program (setting aside the corruption), the firearms registry and the moving of natives from Davis Inlet. In the end the money was spent (wasted) and the problems remained (or were made worse).
Monte was kind enough to pose for a photo with me after his speech. From this photo it is pretty clear I need a haircut (later today) and to lose a few pounds (not going to happen over Christmas).
