I'll be honest

The live blogging was distracting my viewing.

Who won? Hard to say. But I think the viewer lost. That was really boring.

I think all the leaders did well. Gilles Duceppe looked confident but this is his element. Paul Martin had his strong moments but he struggled at times as well. I think Stephen Harper was similar to Paul Martin, strong at times, weak at times. I think it helped Jack Layton to just have a seat at the table.

I thought that Paul Martin moved his hands around too much and rocked back and forth too much.

I thought Stephen Harper did not clarify his notswithstanding position well enough.

The format clearly benefitted Paul Martin since he didn't have to be on the defence as much as he would have been in the past format.
