We all know that the actual SES Research numbers are tough to trust but (I argue) at a minimum the trends matter.
Check out their latest numbers (39, 33, 12, 12, 5) especially in Ontario:
Liberals: 41%
Conservatives: 38%
New Democrats: 15%
Greens: 6%
I don't believe these numbers for a second - but look at the chart on page 2 of the pdf. Whatever gap there was at the beginning of the campaign it has narrowed since then. Now of course this goes against what Strategic Counsel has been saying so grain of salt and all that.
