Losing Ontario

Ipsos-Reid confirms what EKOS shows below.

...“The Liberals are losing right now because they’re losing in Ontario,” Ipsos Reid president Darrell Bricker said in an interview. “They’ve got to do something to get Ontario back.” According to the poll conducted from Jan. 2 to Jan. 5, the Conservatives have the support nationally of 35% of decided voters, while the Liberals stand at 31%.

The New Democrats are supported by 18% of voters, the Bloc Québécois is at 12%, and the Green party is at 5%.

In Ontario, the Conservatives have 39% of decided voters, compared with 34% for the Liberals and 20% for the New Democratic Party.

In British Columbia, the Conservatives have 35%, the Liberals have 33% and the New Democratic Party 24%.

Andrew Coyne adds on his blog that 31% for the Liberals would be their second-worst result, ever.

Update: Thanks to 'YYC' for the heads up on this comment by Darrell Bricker over at AC's.
