to get all worked up over. My fellow Bloggers Hotstove member Sinister Greg has gotten himself into a lather over Stephen Harper using "God Bless Canada" at the end of a speech.
This is hardly the first time Stephen Harper has used this line. I will admit it doesn't flow that well but it does flow better than a replacement version Stephen Harper floated out a while ago - "May God continue to keep our land glorious and free". It is too bad that one didn't roll off the tongue better because it dares people like Greg to come out against it and thus against the National Anthem.
But really, we live in a blessed country. What is wrong with asking God to continue to bless us?
