Duh!

This is
unbelievable.

Former Parti Quebecois premier Jacques Parizeau says sovereigtists need to know their new enemy better and that means getting to know Stephen Harper's policies.

Parizeau is urging sovereigntists to read the policy program of the Conservative Party of Canada and see how it would affect Quebec. He told students in Quebec City today he personally wants to read the speech the Conservative leader gave before Christmas in which Harper offered an outstretched hand to Quebecers.

Nah, what good would that do.

Good idea, actually.

Next thing ya know he’ll want folks reading Peter C. Newman and Mordecai Richler ;)

That news article makes it sound like he is too lazy to go find a copy of the speech and wants someone to send him a copy. hahahahaha

You would think that this will do nothing but sway more voters to the Torys. They do have a pretty rock solid policy that takes no powers from the provinces and looks to enable them, not limit them.

He may have just done Harper a huge favour.

It’s way too late to ignore Harper. I’d take that as an offhand comment from a retired leader. Those that are active would be wise to read that speech at a lot more. According top Lapresse most of Quebec’s ‘experts’ are already rushing to Quebec city to find out what happened.

I was at the speech and am surprised the media is highlighting that part of it. It wasn’t the gist of what he talked about.

Was he drunk at the time or just senile?
