Because you asked for it

Sheesh. Unplug for one afternoon (to paint the dinning
room ahead of my youngest daughters birthday, I'll have you know) and the readers revolt! Actually, it is kind of nice that people come here to see my take on polls, so thanks. By popular demand here are the latest poll numbers from Environics.

Conservatives: 41%
Liberals: 22%
New Democrats: 21%
Bloc Quebecois: 10%
Greens: 5%

The reason for the big switch? Liberal collapse in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Do I really need to continue with the analysis? Does that not stop you in your tracks. Liberals down 18% in the GTA, down 28% in Montreal and down 12% Vancouver. Whatever!

Now the sample sizes are really small in the cities so take those numbers for what they are worth. Besides, the Liberals are leaderless right now so expect their numbers to be low. And man, it is early!

Well now I can sleep thanks to a Staples fix. Thanks for putting it up! Hope your dining room is a good color… blue perhaps? hah

keep up the good poll numbers I agree with the other post, you get hooked on these after a while!

We need to do what we did during the campaign. Ignore the polls, and just keep going on with our work.

ooops, apologies, forgot that some people actually have a life - Happy B-Day to your little one and thanks, i’m fixed now!

It was indeed a strange poll. Just over 2000 people taken over 22 days. 2 Decima polls in the same period showed slight gains for the Liberals and steady numbers for the Conservatives.

The NDP are ahead of the Liberals in Quebec. If the two parties ever do merge I’m starting to think the terms will be set by the NDP.

It is a non-partisan yellow ;)
