Take it from the source

There has been a lot of talk lately about the upcoming Neil Young album entitled Living with War and whether or not it is a valid effort on Neil Young's part. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure that the criticism will come (mainly) from those opposed to Neil Young's opinions on Iraq.

I, for one, do not care about that kind of stuff. I like music for music's sake. If being "a leftist" gets an artist all charged up and they come up with a unique chord progression or interesting turn of phrase then that is good enough for me. I guess I would disagree with the politics of the majority of musical artists that I listen to and I'm cool with that - 'cause I care about the songs not the singer/songwriter.

With that being said, I was given the opportunity to provide a link where you can listen to the album. So instead of judging based on buzz you can judge based on experience.
