The April30th Hotstove

Is up and posted over at STIMedia. You can listen to the original 4 panelists (Bob, Greg and James) talk about the "flag flap" and the Softwood Lumber Deal. As a special treat (or not) you can listen to us to discuss whether or not to sell advertisements during the podcasts. There is a service I am considering that can place 30 second ads at the beginning, end or both of a podcast and being a capitalist I am always looking for a way to get a little scratch for the effort that is put into the podcast. Any thoughts?

BBS:

You and Bob can sell ads for the cast, charge Greg a broadcast tax and get James to apply for government grant. That should cover all the bases. :)

I think I’d listen to unique ad copy done by the Hotstove panel. I’d likely skip over any generic national ads. How about offering sponsorships to other blogs for a few bucks a show. $25 ea for two slots at the start and end?
