Is there really any question about this?

Quit now and the story lives on for another and then dies out before the December convention. Don't quit and it lingers until then. As much as I would like Joe Volpe to stick through this, he's done. But with stories like this it may not matter anyway.

Calgary Junkie:

This further erodes the LPC’s position as being a “government in waiting”, let alone being “the natural governing party”. It will play well in the CPC’s next election campaign, as Harper challenges voters to ask themselves if they want to risk having the LPC in charge again. Or even being a non-confidence vote away from taking over in another minority Parliament. Its going to be a battle of which party is more scary !
