by how about Kitchener-Waterloo? Call them the KW Warriors and you can keep the team colours. Build a rink on 401 & 8 and draw from Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, London, Guelph, Hamilton and Mississauga. Oh baby, I'm dreaming big tonight!

I think we’re all dreaming about that. A new building in KW is just as likely as a new one in Pittsburgh. Plus a new building in KW makes way more sense than rebuilding Copps in Hamilton. Of course the NHL will exhaust all legal possibilities before it can happen.
Still, room for optimism.

He should spend some money and expand RIM Park so the taxpayers of Waterloo can finally get some use out of it.

Just because RIM named it doesn’t mean anything to do with it is their fault.

Yeah, RIM Park wasn’t RIM’s fault. It just happens to be one of the more regrettable marketing decisions the company made. When the RIM Park problems emerged, the company name got plastered all over the scandal, even though they had nothing to do with it.

Go Jets Go.
Weve got the arena and no need to compensate the Maple Laffs for stealing their fans. Its a win-win situation.
If your going to lose money, do it somewhere where the people love their hockey.

Sorry guys, I didn’t mean to suggest it was RIM’s fault. I just meant that their name is associated with a white elephant.
