Apolitical Staples

As you know I have not followed the US Elections very closely. Let me rephrase that, I have not posted very much on the US Elections even though I paid a more attention to it than my lack of posts would have you believe. One thing is clear to me - things are good for a democracy when a party that disserves to lose loses. And this is the brilliance of the US system - every two years you get a chance to express your preferences. There is no such thing as a five year majority. No ability to stack the Senate with unelected party hacks.
