you get the picture. So Brian Tobin has joined the Fraser Institute - does that make him a right-wing, Looney Tune?

Perhaps he’ll stand for the Conservatives at the next election. Be quite a coup if he does.

As you get older you realize issues are more important the partisan politics. Also your employment options dwindle ;)

I can’t wait for the next Manning, Harris and Tobin missive from the FI.
It’s interesting what happened to the most electable Liberals.
For example, McKenna has joined Bay St as Deputy Chair of TD Bank.
Manley and McKenna both understood that America can get along without Canada but that 40% of all goods and services produced in Canada get bought in the USA. Our economy is totally dependant upon the USA, no other country in the world has allowed itself to become this dependant.
So what we are seeing from Tobin, McKenna and Manley is the political goal posts are moving to the right. How will Dion handle this? He has to make gains in socialist Quebec, how can he do that and still stay within the rightward moving goal posts in the ROC. This will be fun to watch.

Or, it means that the Fraser Institute has sold out by associating itself with a notorious socialist.
