that Calgary Grit mentions in this post. Run Rae and Kennedy against NDP competition in downtown Toronto. If the Liberals want to win back government that have to, um, er, win more seats. Since this by definition true why would they run their star candidates in safe ridings?

More than 1/2 of Canadians in a poll do not agree with Time’s choice.
I would think the RCMP and Mahrar Arar issue was the newsmaker of the year, but then Time’s schmoozing of Harper wouldn’t go there would they because something smells between Harper and his attempt to protect the RCMP and Zaccardelli.

You remember Dingwall, Martin fired him and gave him $400,000+ in shut-up money.

Dingwall’s severence package was, unfortunately, allowed because (a) it was in his contract and (b) it turns out he was fired without cause.
Still, it vexes.
