can't vote there. Why is this a story?
I am very proud of the 42% who responded (and we therefore not included in the 4:1) that is none of my f-ing business.

The policies that would have to be espoused by any Democratic candidate able to get enough votes to get elected would be branded in urban Canada as “extreme right wing”. It’s just too funny. Sad funny.

The story isn’t about who Canadians want, the inside story is the CP’s attempt to link Stephen Harper to an unpopular president.
Canadians don’t want Republican, Bush…Republican, Media tries to make Harper friend of Bush, therefore Canadians will not want Harper too.
It’s a nice try by CP, but hopefully Canadians will see through this BS.

I concur with Kitchener Conservative.
Why aren’t there polls that ask who we’d vote for in the UK or France or Japan or Brazil? Casual media consumers in Canada think they know about the US, but the fact is they know just as much as they do about other countries. And what do they know? All the news the media thinks is fit to print.

Decima is a bowel movement. Complete and utter pap from these scoundrals . When they asked Canadians about Democrats and Republicans, did they even check to see if 4 out of 5 respondants had some teeth left ? How do you compliment poll answerers?? “Nice tooth !”

It’s news because Harper won’t release the report. ;)

Not exactly true. Lots of Canadians have American citizenship.
But hey, if I remember correctly, this is about the same as it was in 2004 — the nominal Republican may even get more Canadian support than did President Bush in his re-election campaign.
Anyway, Americans will do as they have always done — vote their interests — and we’ll see how that turns out. Depends on who the nominees are.

The media is supposed to report the news…not create it.
I think I’ll start my own polling company. The first question:
Do you think the media is full of dishonest,anti-semetic socialists with an agenda to subvert any story to support their own political beliefs?
The actual results would be inconsequential, you see,I’ve already created the perception I wanted to by simply posing the question.

I saw that non-story and asked myself the same question.

Problem is: I get these annoying calls from pollsters and in typical polite Canadian fashion I try to answer, much like giving directions to someone who is lost. The problem is the way they direct the questions. Also my blood sugar is low because it’s dinner time. ;)
