I should have gone for a Harper Lite

Since this poll is behind the National Post subscriber wall I suggest you pick up the paper at your local library (or here is something, go buy the paper) since there is some fascinating information in it. Even though some of it is common sense.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper's political coalition is predominantly male, prefers a Tim Hortons double-double over a Starbucks latte, is less likely to watch CBC than other Canadians, sees Don Cherry as a "national icon," watches more sports and is more likely to fear a terrorist attack, according to a new poll provided exclusively to CanWest News Service.

I differ from "Harper's Canadians" since I have given up coffee (but I did drink Tim Horton's when I did), have no serious fear of a terrorist attack and I do not squirm at the thought of gay marriage.
It also found following federal support polling.

Conservatives: 35%
Liberals: 35%
New Democrats: 13.5%
Bloc Quebecois: 9%
Greens: 8%
