Thanks for the comment. I always wonder if anyone actually listens so it is good to hear when someone does.

Hey I listen regularly even when I am not on!
;)
Glad to see you have corrected the Hotstove’s recent lean to the left AND solved the BSG problem at the same time….

Are you volunteering? ;-)
Seriously, you should. I think you’ve put your finger on a problem with the Canadian political blogosphere. Other than your blog and the Blog Quebecois, I’m hard pressed to name a political blog from Quebec. I know there out there, but there doesn’t seem to be so much mixing. We could probably use a Quebec-only (excepting MC Greg) version of the Hotstove.

Hmm, I posted a comment but probably in the wrong place for it to show. In essence, it was not selective hearing on my part, but the volume variance between speakers was significant (I had to crank the speakers for James and Dan, moreso for Dan, and a bit for Damian) - is everybody “speaking into the mike”?

I’d suggest checking out Adam’s blog for insights on the Quebec election.
http://www.daifallah.com/about_adam.htm
He’s going to Laval U in Quebec City and he seems to like the ADQ …
BTW it’s not hard not to like the ADQ when Mario says things like this on the weekend:
“Mr. Dumont accused the Premier of betraying their trust by failing to meet his promise on tax cuts, on eliminating wait times for surgeries and on slashing the size of government.”
When was the last time we’ve ever heard a Canadian political leader say “slashing the size of government” ?

Issues covered were good, also the perspectives, as usual. But how come I came away with the feeling that Flipper just needs a few more days to get up to speed, and then everything will be OK for the LPC?
You could have made big money as PR reps for White Star and the “slight mishap” with their Titanic. (grin)
