Because when Buzz Hargrove is pissed at you then you know you are on the right track.
In a letter to Liberal leader Stéphane Dion, CAW
president Buzz Hargrove expressed his frustration and disappointment at Dion's
recent announcement that he will no longer support federal anti-scab
legislation when Bill C-257 comes up for third reading in Parliament later
this month.
Dion personally committed his support for the legislation to Hargrove in
a meeting February 7, 2007, on the condition that essential services are
protected in the event of a strike. Bill C-257 will do nothing to diminish the
current protections which are in place for essential services.

This actually is good news for Dion. Unfortunately, the link doesn’t work for me.

This is one of the few times that I agree with Dion. I guess he doesn’t get a leather jacket now though.

One should also note that Hargrove has come out against strict compliance with Kyoto timelines, arguing that it would kill jobs and the economy.
More good news for Dion? Or some political cover for Harper?

Yuppers, Buzz is running out of parties to perform the “embrace of political death”. But think of this … could you see an alliance of convenience between Buzz and Harper (even though they deeply loathe each other) over the environment, jobs, auto? Press Announcement: “Although often in disagreement, the PM & Buzz strongly agree on the need to ….. and have agreed …..”.
Naaaw! I thought about it some more, and decided that Buzz would rather take cyanide than do something like that.

Possible? Nothing like encouraging disarray in your competitor:
