Apolitical Staples

I'm late to the "Chocolate Rain" dance but it is a dance that definately worth checking out. Start out by here on YouTube and continue on and on and on with the remixes and parodies. I'm convinced that there has been so much youtubing on this becuase it is almost really good. It is like Vanilla Sky (the Tom Cruise version). I watched it 4 times because I was convinced there was something in the movie that was excellent only to determine that it actually sucked. It's kinda like Donnie Darko for my wife. I knew it sucked the first time whereas my wife was so intrigued by it that she watched several times in a couple week period of time.

So to make a long story short there is something oddly compelling about Chocolate Rain, enough there that you can hear something that isn't actually there.

And my favourite re-working is this. But it helps I like the Radiohead original.
