Over to the Liberals, part II

Oh, were going to have fun in the fall.

...Bloc Quebecois Leader Gilles Duceppe has threatened to take down Stephen Harper's Conservative government in the fall, if the prime minister doesn't make a firm commitment to pull Canadian troops from Afghanistan by February 2009.
...Duceppe said Thursday he wants an emergency debate on Canada's role in the Afghanistan once parliament resumes on Sept. 17.

If there is no emergency debate then the Bloc Quebecois could vote down the government at their first opportunity, the Throne Speech. You know, the Throne Speech that the NDP has signalled they will vote against if the Conservatives don't honour Kyoto yesterday (see below).

Anon:

The Bloc were the only ones to support Harper. I guess their polling numbers have improved.

Shamrock:

Tories must be shaking in their boots. Not!! Allons y, commencer l’election.

Jon:

Bring it on! I smell a CPC majority.

Alan:

Because Duceppe cares about the soldiers. Well the Quebecois soldiers anyway.

What a prick.

Sorry, but that’s what he is.

A big prick.

Can I say that on here?

Is this thing on?

Dr. Strangelove:

No. He’s a little prick. And a very little one at that.

Alan:

Excellent point.
