So I missed this the first time around but check out CBC Politics from Wednesday where you will find former John Turner communcations director Ray Heard talking about his "disenchantment with Dion". And it was a lovely dressing down of Dion until he makes this point,
"I've just finished Brian Mulroney's memoirs and say what you like about Brian Mulroney he kept his party together, his caucus together and he was a good organizer"
Let tackle these one at a time: kept his party together - if you call having your split into three under your watch, kept his caucus together - except for having his buddy go off and found a separatist party, he was a good organizer - if good organization leads to winning just two seats. I am not here to carry water for Stephane Dion but Heard's criticisms are ruined when he holds Mulroney up as an example.
