I've been wrong before

And it sure seems like the Conservatives are getting things fired up. But I still believe that this in intended to scare the Liberals out of an election and the Liberals should be scared enough to want to avoid one.

But if this is any indication the Liberals are behaving more like a cornered animal.

...Liberal MP Marlene Jennings said the party has to stand on its values and principles and vote as a group, even if it means a quick election.
"Our leader, Mr. Dion, has laid out what we want in the Speech from the Throne. If it's not there, it's clear that we vote against it," she said in an interview.
Liberal MP Francis Scarpaleggia added that he is increasingly in favour of an election.
"When a Prime Minister says everything is going to be a non-confidence vote, that's the kind of threat that is just not worthy of my constituents," he said.

Anon:

I don’t think Harper was kidding about confidence measures.

Finley’s blabbermouthedness is perplexing, as always. The guy must be some sort of a megalomaniac.
