My problem is

(ok, one among many) is I have a hard time accepting anything at face value. Take the latest polling numbers from Ipsos Reid.

Conservatives: 40%
Liberals: 27%
New Democrats: 14%
Greens: 10%
Bloc Quebecois: 8% (guessing, from what is left-over)

It is not such much that I don't believe the Conservatives have a big nationally, it is just that I have hard time believing they are this much out in front in Ontario (if at all).

Conservatives: 42%
Liberals: 34%
New Democrats: 13%
Greens: 10%

It is ironic that at a time when polling is showing more and more Canadians wanting a majority government, and a Conservative one at that, that this polling makes it less likely that the Conservatives can get an election to get it.

Greg:

Funny how this is the only polling company showing the Tories at 40%, eh? Funny that it is in the National Post, too. Where is Nick Nanos when you need him?

My theory is the pollster mixed the labels on Ontario and Alberta.
