Polls, polls, everywhere polls

This one is from Unimarkerting/La Presse.

Conservatives: 36.3%
Liberals: 24.7%
New Democrats: 18.9%

...With only 24.7% of voting intentions (down 5.5% from January 2006), the Liberals Stephane Dion obtain their worst score of the last 10 national polls. The Liberal Party was down in most major regions of the country, including Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia. The last bastions Liberals are the Maritimes and the Toronto area.

While 36% does suck, isn’t an 11-12 point lead pushing majority territory?

Right you are Ben. That’s what our MMP touting friends would refer to as “false” majority territory. Vote splitting being the culprit.
